Emmaus Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne IN: Guidelines for Worship under Covid-19 through June 13
As approved by the Board of Elders on May 4, 2020

These guidelines follow the document from Gov. Eric Holcomb’s office, “Revised Guidance for Places of Worship,” from backontrack.in.gov, CDC requirements for social distancing and have been applied and modified for our needs at Emmaus Lutheran Church as of May 4, 2020. This document is applicable through Stage 3, projected until June 13. New information will go out before Sunday, June 14, informing you of our next steps in our process to hopefully return to our one regular 9 am service by Sunday, June 14. If he heightens the restrictions, we will inform you of adjustments.)

Special Service planned for Sept. 13 with guest Organist Dr. Steven Wente, Concordia University Chicago. (He instructed Mr. LaCroix, Joann Olsen and Pastor in music and organ!) More details later. Confirmation June 21: Hoping we will all be back together to celebrate with these young people. Questioning with Confirmands will be conducted by Pastor, with the parents only, prior to the service.
    • Phone number and email: Make sure your phone number is up to date with the church office for the All Call. If not on the email list, let us know. Also watch the website, emmausfortwayne.org
    • Offerings: thank you for continuing to bring forth your offerings to the Lord. As you know, the summer is always the hardest part of the year financially with no income from the school, so your continued giving is a blessing as we close out this budget year and look to a new budget year beginning July 1.

 In His Service and Yours,

The Board of Elders and Pastor Olsen
